WIFI MILIGHT ROUTER for mobile phones or tablets

A Wi-Fi MILIGHT router to enable control from phones/tablets.

The Wi-Fi router allows you to wirelessly control LED strips using an Android or iOS phone or tablet (with a free, dedicated Mi.Light app). The Wi-Fi controller works with receivers in the frequency range 2.4GHz. This is possible by configuring a Wi-Fi router to work with the following controllers for specific light strips:

- single-colour LED strips

- BICOLOR LED strips

- RGB LED strips

- RGB+W LED strips

A smartphone or tablet PC with installed iOS (version 5.1 or higher) or Android (version 2.1 or higher) system is required to control Wi-Fi router. Download the free application "Mi.Light" from Apple App Store for Apple or from Google Play for Android to properly set up devices.

The "Mi.Light" application has integrated interfaces for individual receivers (MONO or RGB) which allow to control each zone using the remote control in the same way.

Configuration of the Wi-Fi router:

1. Connect power (DC 5 V, 500 mA) to the Wi-Fi controller using the supplied cable.
2. Press "RST" for approximately 10 seconds until the "LINK" and "SYS" LEDs will start flashing to restore the factory default settings. This step is not required in the case of new controllers.
3. Entering the Wi-Fi Settings on your smartphone/tablet, choose "Milight” network and connect it.
4. If the connection is correct, the "Link" diode on the controller will light up to indicate the connection.
5. Launch the "Milight" app on your device, then choose the correct Wi-Fi network from the "Configuration" section at the bottom of the screen, and enter the network password (if required) and accept.
6. Wait for a moment for the application to refresh connection.
7. After the successful configuration of the connection, choose the program interface appropriate to your lighting system (4-zone MONO or RGB receivers) from the Monitor option.
8. In the "Milight" application, you can change the name and photograph of the controller in order to make it easier to identify the zone.

Assigning lighting to the zone in the application:
- Turn off the receiver to be programmed in the first zone.
- Restart the previously disconnected receiver with the lighting of the selected zone and press the "I" (On) button in the application for the selected zone within 3 seconds.
- After the successful connection to the zone, light will flash 3 times.

Disconnecting the light in the assigned zone:
- Turn off the receiver power for the zone you want to disconnect.
- Restart the previously disconnected receiver and press the "I" (On) button in the application for the selected zone 5 times within 3 seconds.
- After the successful disconnection from the zone, light will flash 6 times.
