RGB controller with infrared remote control 6 A
Description
An RGB controller is a key component of an RGB lighting system. Using a controller, you can set any colour of LED RGB strips or select dynamic colour change functions. Designed for operation with any 12 V RGB light source.
A remote supplied with the controller can be used for selecting RGB strip’s lighting options. The dynamic colour change function let you generate fantastic light effects at the touch of a button.
The remote communicates with the controller using infrared (IR). Maximum communication range is 5 m. In case of IR the receiver (the controller) and transmitter (a remote) must “see” each other. A very compact infrared receiver coming out of the controller on the cable is used for that purpose.
The controller can be used with any RGB lighting not exceeding the total current 6 A (2 A per channel). If you connect a light source with a larger current consumption it is necessary to use the appropriate RGB signal amplifier.
The controller connection with power supply is carried out using the DC socket integrated with the housing. An RGB signal is led out from controller using a 4-core cable. The colour scheme corresponds to the colour signal: R — red, G — green, B — blue. The controller has a common anode (+) for all signals.
